Post Cereal Review

Our Breakfast with Elmo and Cookie Monster

By Kimberly Vees March 26, 2013
Samples of the new Post Sesame Street Cereal arrived for our families to sample a few weeks back and we must say that they were a big hit with our Macaroni Kids.  We received a box of the A is for Apple and B is for Banana cereals along with a few goodies.

The new Sesame Street cereals were not only a big hit with all 6 of our children but also a hit with us moms.  There are no artificial flavors or colors in the cereal and we were thrilled to read that is contains nutrients that help support healthy brain development.  The cereal is low in sugar (only 1 gram per serving) and 22 grams of whole grain per serving.  But the best thing of all was that even though it wasn't loaded in sugar our kids loved it!

My kids loved the mild banana flavor of the Cookie Monster cereal and Jen's son Blake loved the Elmo Cereal, "A is for Apple"!  My son Benjamin asked me multiple days in a row to pack the cereal in a baggie for him to take as a snack to school and 1 night I even caught the kids snacking on it while watching a movie!  What mom could ask for more!

Moms of toddlers will be thrilled with the size and shape of the cereal because it is small enough to not be a choking hazard for toddlers but the X and O shapes are easy for their little fingers to grab for self feeding.  After trying this cereal out, Jen and I agree that "Good things come from Post"!
