Picture over 100 preschoolers packed into a night club where the new "hot" band is a bunch of fuzzy monsters and you've got Yo Gabba Gabba Live! Get Your Sillies Out! This was Jen's and my first Yo Gabba Gabba! concert and we could not have had a better experience.
As we entered the Hershey Theater the excitement in the room was infectious. There were Mom's and Dad's, Grandmom's and Grandpop's, and lots of little ones bopping along to the music and singing to the songs. My 5 year old (who I was worried was getting a little too big for Yo Gabba Gabba!) knew every song and was bouncing off the walls with delight!
The show began with DJ Lance appearing on screen and as we shouted the magic words BOOM!, he appeared allong with a hurricane of confetti! The theater errupted with cheers as Muno, Foofa, Brobee, Toodee and Plex arrived on stage. We proceeded to dance, sing and shimmy our sillies out through the rest of the show!
My heart just melted as I watched my 5 year old "big boy" become a dancing machine! Jen's 3 year old sat mesmerized by the whole thing and after waming up during the intermission spent the second half of the show dancing along with the rest of the audience! Both the boys had a wonderful time and just loved every bit of the show!
Yo Gabba Gabba Live! Get Your Sillies Out! is now on tour. If you can make it to a show in your area Jen and I highly reccomend it!
