About The Publisher: Emily Emerson

Welcome to Macaroni Kid Reading! Although I was born in Pennsylvania, I was raised in San Diego and returned to Pennsylvania for college. I spent ten years working in education, primarily in Life Skills and Autistic Support. Although I loved my job, I was fortunate to take time off to be with my children.

Once I became a stay-at-home mom I realized how difficult it can be to find, plan, and organize events and activities for young families. I often find myself researching Reading, and surrounding areas, to find new activities, programs, and events for my children and me to attend. I hope to grow this site as an ongoing resource for all families!

I am excited to begin helping our local community find fun things to do and connect with small businesses.

Raising a family is hard. Finding things to do as a family shouldn't be!
