Cara starts her day just like most of us do. Up early starting laundry and coffee, packing lunches, doing that mom stuff. However, Cara is not your typical mom. After learning more about Cara, I'd call her a super mom. Juggling her day job, and her dream job (Bink'd), a family, a home, and everything else we as mom's juggle. However, her dream job, is not just a job. It's an amazing new company that has taken off like wildfire!
Bink'd is temporary tattoo earrings for boys and girls. Cara, a mother of four children, thought up the idea for her product when looking for an alternative to piercing her then 15 month old's ears. When she couldn't find a solution that was not a choking hazard, she created her own! And Bink'd was born! Bink'd creates the look of earrings without the commitment and the dangers that can be associated with piercing a young child's ears.
Given Cara's professional background, she knew there was a lot more work to be done if she was going to make her idea a successful product. A lot of research and hard work went into making sure she was doing it the right way. She was researching markets, finding the right suppliers, and making contacts. Before she knew it she launched Bink'd in a BIG WAY! Bink'd is now in over 80 high end boutiques and in Nordstrom stores nationwide!
Cara's commitment to making sure her product is safe is clear. She uses a US based manufacturer who only uses vegetable based inks. Creating a product safe for her children and other people's children was a huge priority for her. And I'm sure moms and dads everywhere can agree that finding a fun product that is safe, and made here in the USA is pretty perfect!
