Homemade Easter Bonnets

By Kimberly Vees March 26, 2013

One of my daughter's favorite parts about Easter is getting all dressed up!  The girls are guaranteed to get a pretty new outfit with new shoes, jewelry and of course a new purse!  This year we decided to make things even more fun and made our own Easter Bonnets.  My son even joined in the fun and made himself a new top hat. I know the kids are going to have a blast showing off their creativity at all our holiday gatherings!

To make your own Easter Bonnet here is what you will need:

  • 1 paper plate or bowl per person
  • hole punch
  • ribbon or yarn
  • glue or tape
  • crayons or markers
  • Easter Decorations (Easter grass, plastic eggs, ribbon, foam stickers, bunnies or chicks etc.)

Instructions:

1.  Punch a hole on either side of the plate or bowl.

2.  Attach a piece of ribbon or string.

3.  Decorate the hat as you want with Easter decorations.

4.  Let dry and enjoy!
