NuRoo's line of products were designed by two moms who have eight children between the two of them. They wanted to create a brand that encouraged bonding between a mom and her baby, provided skin-to-skin contact, and helps babies feel secure.

NuRoo also offers two other products. The NuRoo Pocket adheres to sling carrier standards, and has adjustable closures so you and your baby get a perfect fit every time. The NuRoo Swaddler (which we raffled off at our Baby Bonanza) has two interior pockets and a removable seam to allow room for your baby to grow. It's one design, but can be used from birth until your baby is 28" long.
Personally, I like that the makers of NuRoo have kept in mind how quickly babies outgrow their "things". I can barely remember some of the items my kids used, because before I knew it, they had already outgrown them. It seemed like a waste of money. But NuRoo's products are made to either grow with your child, or they can even be used by you after your child has outgrown the need for it. Thank you, NuRoo!
