Here is a cute and simple Halloween craft to do with your kids using items you have on hand!
Supplies you will need:
- 1 toilet paper roll per bat
- black paint & paint brushes
- black construction paper
- scissors
- hole punch
- string
- glue
- glow sticks (optional)
Instructions:
- Cut your toilet paper roll to the size you want. (If using glow sticks to make theirs eyes glow do not cut your toilet paper roll!)
- Paint the toilet paper roll black and let it dry.
- Using the hole punch make two eyes and a hole in the back to hang your bat.
- Cut wings out of a piece of black construction paper and glue to the back of your bat. (I am a terrible artist so I searched for bat wings and printed a template from the web.)
- Hang your bats using string from a tree or place in the bushes.
Extra fun:
On Halloween, you can glue a glow stick inside your bat to make their eyes glow!
