Luckily, one of the members of our group "checked in" on Facebook when she arrived, giving us 3 helpful hints that we could ask for if we got stuck at any time. This was the first time any of us had ever experienced an Escape Room, and so it took us a little while to get our wits about us once we were in the room, but after about 10 minutes or so, we were well on our way, finding clues and figuring out the puzzles to help us escape.
I was quite proud of us - we were not only able to find the pirate's treasure and escape the locked room, but we did it with 8 minutes and 1 clue to spare! Not bad for our first time! We had so much fun that the four of us are already talking about going back with our husbands to try our best to escape from The Alchemy Lab!
Captured LV Escape Room is a brand new attraction that offers 2 rooms for you to try to escape from. The Pirate's Chamber is a good one to start with if you have a smaller group, as it's recommended for 2-5 players, or if you have tweens or teens that are participating. The Alchemy Lab is recommended for 6-10 players and is for adults only.
I would highly recommend Captured LV Escape Room for families, older Boy Scout or Girl Scout Troops, Youth Groups, or just a group of friends who want to experience something fun and different.
Before you go, make sure to check out their FAQ and Tips pages on their website, and when you visit, make sure you let them know that you heard about them from Macaroni Kid!
