**Giveaway** Dorney Park's Great Pumpkin Fest

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”

September 12, 2016
At Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, the fun doesn’t stop when the summer ends! Halloween Haunt will open for its 9th season on Friday, September 16th bringing a fright-filled experience to the Lehigh Valley, featuring 8 mazes, 4 scare zones, 25 hair-raising rides, live shows and over 500 gruesome creatures. The Great Pumpkin Fest will also open on Saturday, September 17th, providing a unique family-friendly Halloween experience (for kids 12 and under) that can only be experienced at Dorney Park.

New scares for 2016 include two new mazes and two new Skeleton Keys. Guests can travel through the brand new Blood on the Bayou maze and discover the dark secrets that trouble the monsters of the French Quarter, encountering mindless demons trudging through murky waters in search of their next victim. Guests can also make their way through The Ward, where orderlies have some loose ends to tie up with the impending state foreclosure. Guests can unlock a Skeleton Key while settling in for their terrifying stay at the Mansion House Hotel, a night they would rather forget! Those who dare to walk among the Captain and his band of probates can unlock the Skeleton Key on Cut Throat Island.

Guests can up the fear factor with Fright Lane including Skeleton Key. For 2016, Fright Lane has been expanded to 8 attractions, allowing guests to make their night more full of fright! This premium add on experience includes front of the line access to 8 attractions, more intense and interactive scares in 6 Skeleton Key scare rooms and exclusive access to Blackout where your fear of the dark will be tested! Fright Lane with Skeleton Key is available online or at the park for as low as $40 per person. Guests who want to join their friends, but want to have a scare-free night will be able to purchase a No Boo Necklace for $12 to let monsters know to keep away. New for 2016, guests can experience Franklin’s Monster Mania and see what our friendly monsters are up to in the Funster House and Monster Foam Machine. This fall is also the 50th anniversary of the Halloween classic “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”! As a special treat for our pint-sized guests, special viewings of the movie will be offered.
