Diggerland USA, located in West Berlin, NJ, is a construction themed amusement park designed for the whole family to ride, drive, and operate construction and off-road utility vehicles. For the public’s safety, Diggerland has modified each of their vehicles, but still allows you to experience real life experiences in excavators, backhoes, and much, much more! Each ride has height requirements, so be sure to check their website before you go!
Diggerland opened in June of 2014 and continues to expand yearly! The owners and design team take all the feedback seriously from their patrons to provide riders with what they want to experience! Actually, they’ve almost doubled in size from their grand opening. There were quite a few new rides that opened in the park this year. Scissor lift (Elevation Station) is a lift that takes riders 60 feet in the air and provides quite a panoramic view of the park! My family's favorite this year was the zipline, Soaring Eagle. This ride takes you backwards 130 feet in the air and releases you back down the zipline; it was quite a rush, but a highly recommended ride! This ride was not included in admission price, but for only an additional $5 per rider, it was definitely worth it!
If you need a break from operating the machinery, and rides that make you spin, Diggerland also offers a ropes course, playground area, and arcade. There are also 3 locations throughout the park should you need a bite to eat or some relaxing in their picnic area! Each designated area was well maintained and taken care of.
Diggerland hosts multiple parties whether it be a birthday, corporate event or special occasion. They offer group discounts so be sure to check if your group qualifies. This park is truly designed for all ages! Plan to spend the full day at the park as it has a lot to offer and keep you busy! We found our family fun at Diggerland!
