My son LOVES YouTube. He watches videos about football, odd challenges, and basketball like they are going out of style. While I don't want him on electronics all day long, there are some valuable YouTube channels out there, and we've got the list for you:

Science Mom
She shares science demonstrations and gives the reasons behind why certain reactions occur.

Smithsonian Channel
Programming for popular topics such as air and space, history, science, nature, and pop culture.

The Brain Scoop
Emily shares the work and research from natural history museums with viewers.

Smart Girls
Amy Poehler emphasizes intelligence and imagination through profiles of inspiring people and DIY projects.

SciShow
This channel explores the answers to many questions so you can learn about the world around you.

Free School
Informative videos covering a wide variety of topics such as art, mythology, biographies and more.

Homeschool Pop
Educational and fun videos for elementary students, categorized by subject and grade level.

Khan Academy
Videos for older children/teens with subject matter surrounding Biology, Physics, Statistics, and more.

Peekaboo Kids
These videos bring science to life to teach about the various systems of the body, pollution, why your body does things it does, and more.

Veritasium
These videos show cool demonstrations and expert interviews mainly about science topics.
