June 21 is National Selfie Day, and Macaroni Kid Reading is ready to have some fun with a Selfie Contest! There will be 5 prizes awarded, one in each of these categories:
- Berks County Selfie - What makes you love Berks County? Is it a special place, specific local business, or perhaps it's a statue, street sign or something else that lets you know you're here. Whatever it is, share a selfie that shows you're in Berks County.
- Family Fun Selfie - More than 1 person is needed to be in this selfie of your family having fun!
- Selfie with your Pet - Show us those pets you love so much! Furry, feathered or full of scales, share your selfie of you with your pet.
- Sleeping Kid Selfie - Maybe it's a victory selfie showing that you FINALLY got them to sleep, a selfie showing how adorable your little one is while they are sleeping, or perhaps shows the funny way your child fell asleep.
- Funny Face Selfie - Pretty self-explanatory, we want to see your funny faces! Props are welcome!
Rules:
- All photos must be family-friendly (G or PG in nature), as we are a family-friendly website.
- By entering our contest, you are giving Macaroni Kid Reading the rights to use your photo in our newsletter, website and social media.
- You must be a subscriber of Macaroni Kid Reading to enter. If you are not already a subscriber, the email address you sign up with will be subscribed to our free newsletter.
- You may enter up to 1 photo in each category. Multiple entries from the same person for the same category will not be eligible for prizes.
- Entries are due by midnight on June 30, 2020.
Prizes:
- Winners will be selected by Macaroni Kid Reading's panel of judges, and those judges have told me that creativity counts, so feel free to get creative and have fun with your selfies!
- There will be one gift card awarded in each category, and the winning photos will be featured in the July 2 publication of Macaroni Kid Reading.
