Looking for family-friendly things to do? Each week we will highlight our top 10 list for things to do in a certain area. Each week we will feature a new area, and this week we are highlighting Leesport!
1. Ozzy's Family Fun Center - This lives up to it's name "Family Fun Center", with miniature golf, go-karts, roller skating, ropes course, rock climbing, indoor batting cages and more.
2. Leesport Farmer's Market - Open every Wednesday from 7am-7pm, the Leesport Farmer's Market features indoor and outdoor stands offering produce, cheese, meat, baked goods, garden items, household items, and just about anything else you can think of.
3. Berks Kid's Closet - Huge selection of gently used kid's clothing, toys, books, puzzles, games, and other items. Their fall sale is coming up on September 26, 2015.
4. Ontelaunee Orchards - Open 7 days a week from June through October, they offer pick-your-own fruits, festivals, story times, and more. Picking now: Peaches!
5. Classic Harley-Davidson - Offers movie nights and other events periodically throughout the year.
6. Hoss's Steak House - Kids 5 and under eat for free at the soup, salad, bread & dessert bar every day.
7. Schuylkill Valley Community Library - You can always find something fun to do at the library (and not just reading!) There are programs for kids, teens & adults, as well as family events and book clubs.
8. Leesport Pool - Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, this pool has daily and seasonal pool memberships. You can also rent the pool and/or the pavilion.
